Who are Scholar Athletes
The State Farm® Texas Scholar Athlete Program recognizes high school seniors throughout Texas who exhibit leadership and good citizenship in academic, athletic and co-curricular activities, and who do so while demonstrating diversity by their extracurricular involvement and commitment.
Scholar Athletes are individuals that actively participate in academic competitions, as well as UIL athletic practices, games and competitions on a daily basis. Most importantly, a scholar-athlete is an individual whose academic progress and success serves as a priority.
Students selected for this program are nominated by their high school counselors, varsity coaches, or school administrators.
